September 2,
On the third day of the journey, Zaky and i had managed to wake up earlier than yesterday to chase sunrise in the eastern part of Karjaw island named Nirwana beach. We had asked the son of householder to bring us to the location of the beach since it was far from our homestay. However, this beach was not for public place and so we had to pay some amount of money to the people in charged for the entry. We had only less than 1 hour to capture the sunrise because we got to go back to homestay immediately.
Sticked on the itinerary, we were going to visit the breeding place of shark, pristine beach of Cemara Besar island, Ujung Gelam, and Menjangan Kecil as the final destination. At the breeding place of shark, we could swim together with the group of young sharks. They were a bit shy when we tried to get close to them but we could attract them by feeding a dead fish. Great reminder, never try to swim in the breeding place when any part of your body were bleeding or otherwise something unexpected will occur. Satisfied of seeing the sharks closely, we proceed the trip to the most exquisite island along the journey. Yes, you will never skip this island if you were in the Karjaw, this island is surrounded by turquoise pristine ocean. Everyone was pampered by its beautiful shallow ocean and i got starfish egg in the ground while swimming around the ocean. Time goes by quickly and we had to back to Ujung Gelam for our lunch and snorkeling nearby the Menjangan Kecil island. Feel so indulge of snorkeling and seeing the amazing ocean for 2 days in Karjaw, we were at last reaching the end of the itinerary.. At night, i decided to buy several typical souvenirs as gift.. :D
